The Council is seeking a Digital Officer to join its enthusiastic ICT team. The role involves identifying and implementing system data improvements. You will work with Service areas to ensure the data held within systems is secure through correct classification and application of permissions/retention policies.

This is an interesting and varied role in which you will develop and support effective system data management. You will require strong technical skills to support our migration to Office 365, assisting service areas in migrating relevant content from network drives into OneDrive/ Sharepoint online and ensuring GDPR compliance. You will perform business process improvements, so data and web and internal digital content is shared and stored using the most appropriate medium. 

The role will include assisting service areas in managing the data held in our statutory systems, so the role is much more than just Sharepoint! You’ll possess great stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively champion effective data management throughout the organisation.
