    <title>Chef Assistant</title>

    <summary>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About the Role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Epsom &amp; Ewell Borough Council is looking to appoint a motivated and reliable &lt;strong&gt;Assistant Chef&lt;/strong&gt; to support the delivery of high-quality catering services within the Community &amp; Wellbeing Centre.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is a practical, hands-on role responsible for assisting with the preparation, cooking and service of food to a high standard, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining strict food hygiene and health &amp; safety requirements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support the day-to-day operation of the Community Wellbeing Kitchen&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and compliance&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor and complete food hygiene records in line with legislation&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support stock control, minimise waste and assist with ordering&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide clear allergen and dietary information to customers&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist the Catering Hub Manager and deputise where required&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support and guide staff and volunteers where necessary&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Have experience working within a catering or hospitality environment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 desirable, or willingness to obtain)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Have knowledge of food safety and health &amp; safety practices&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Be able to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Demonstrate good communication and customer service skills&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Be a positive and flexible team player&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

    <title>Community Services Driver/Technician</title>

    <summary>&lt;p&gt;We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and friendly individual to join our Community Services team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The role of the Community Services Driver Technician is to support the team by delivering Meals at Home, transporting residents on our Transport from Home service and installing Community Alarm and Telecare. Training will be provided.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate will need to have a background in community support services and be able to drive accessible vehicles up to a D1 license*. You will need to be organised, able to work independently and effectively within a team. You will need to manage your time well to ensure you are able to meet the needs of the service.&amp;nbsp; You will need to have excellent people skills along with driving experience.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will be expected to deliver a person-centred approach to our service members. You will be core to the daily delivery of our services to our customers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Contact Centre team. In this role, you will provide the public with a first-class telephone service, delivering frontline advice and information across a wide range of Council services.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will be working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, so it is important that you are well organised, can remain calm, focused and professional irrespective of whether you are handling enquires over the telephone, in person at the Town Hall, or by email or post.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You will have proven experience of working in a busy front line customer service environment and be capable of handling a range of situations with tact, diplomacy and empathy. Excellent communication and listening skills, the ability to converse with all types of people and a polite and courteous attitude is a must, as is a commitment to providing excellent customer care. You will also be able to work well under pressure with minimum supervision while ensuring consistency and accuracy, be confident with technology and the use of software systems, with good keyboard skills.&lt;/p&gt;
